Myanmar Plastic Industries Association was established in 1995 with (15) Executive Members included by plastic entrepreneurs, plastic raw materials distributors, intellectual and technicians.

After establishment, it was existed as cluster under Myanmar Industrial Association (MIA) from 1995 to 1998.

Thereafter, it was applied to Ministry of Home Affairs for existence as a Myanmar Plastic Industries Association with the recommendation of Myanmar Industrial Association (MIA).

In applying so, permission was granted as Myanmar Plastic Industires Association by Certificate No. (1894) under Association Formation Actvide Letter No. 200/68-1/Oo 1 dated (5-8-2010) of Ministry of Home Affairs (Association Formation and Supervision Central Board).
